After 38+ long weeks of waiting we finally got to meet our little man. He was born in the midst of Tropical Storm Ida on a dreary, rainy Tuesday evening at 5:20 pm. At birth he wieghed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 20.5 inches long. We are sure he will go through many growth spurts to be a big boy, his feet are already quite large, huge to be exact. He is absolutely precious, perfect and is such a sweet baby who loves to be held while he sleeps. He was very alert at birth and was wide eyed looking around and playing with Jed for several hours. He did not sleep for his first 5 hours after birth. Below are a few pictures right after he was born, more to follow...
