Owen was such a bright, happy and beautiful baby we just could wait to take him out with us. Before he was one month old, Owen had been on several trip out including trips to Jed and Anna's offices to meet people, out running errands, trips to the mall (we had to get the Christmas shopping done after all), out to dinner, out to breakfast, and several more. One of Owen's big trips was a trip to the coast with Dad, Mom, Grandpa Grumpy, Grandmama, Uncle Josh and Auntie Natalie. It was a cold a blustery day but we wanted to show Uncle Josh and Auntie Natalie the sites around Tallahassee, including the Gulf. Owen spent the time curled up sleeping a sling carried by Mom or Dad.
Owen's First Trip to the Gulf of Mexico
Another one of Owen's big adventures out was his first trip to pick out a Christmas tree. For the past four years we have gone to the Havana Christmas Tree Farm to pick out a live tree on the day after Thanksgiving. This year the whole family went with. Again, Owen spent most of the time sleeping in the sling but this time he was caught on camera and featured in the Tallahassee Democrat on Saturday.
